Triage Customer Health Risks

A prioritized risk queue in which each alert is explainable, validated, and tied to a proportionate intervention.

The process

Work it in this order.

  1. Define the decision the health model supports and select a limited set of relationship, adoption, outcome, support, and commercial signals.
  2. Document each signal's source, freshness, direction, weight, and missing-data behavior.
  3. Back-test the model against known renewals, expansions, contractions, and churn, looking for false alarms and missed risks.
  4. Generate the risk queue and inspect the underlying evidence instead of acting on a composite color alone.
  5. Have the account owner validate context, contact the customer when appropriate, and choose a playbook matched to the risk cause.
  6. Assign an owner, next action, due date, and exit criterion for every accepted risk; suppress or correct invalid alerts with a reason.
  7. Review outcomes and recalibrate signals and playbooks on a defined cadence.

Bring this

Inputs the cat will ask for.

  • Customer outcome and lifecycle definitions
  • Usage, relationship, support, and commercial signals
  • Historical customer outcomes
  • Available intervention playbooks

Router + one playbook

Route first. Choose one.

Cat Paw loads one playbook per task rather than merging several. Start with this router; the remaining paths are workflow-specific candidates it can inspect.

  • skills/customer-success/renewal-risk/SKILL.md
  • skills/customer-success/escalation/SKILL.md

Guardrails

The boundaries travel with the prompt.

  • Do not treat a health score as objective truth or an automatic churn prediction.
  • Expose contributing signals and missing data to the human reviewer.
  • Do not use sensitive personal data or hidden protected-class proxies.
  • Avoid contacting customers with alarming internal labels such as red or churn risk.

Done means

A checkable finish.

Every high-priority alert has been evidence-reviewed and either corrected or assigned an owner, cause-specific action, due date, and measurable exit condition.

Behind the number

Two harnesses. One line.

Same number, same $100 credit. Pick the harness that answers when you text.

Hermes

Nous Research's terminal-native agent. It runs on your machine, keeps memory between sessions, and opens one playbook per task.

OpenClaw

The open-source assistant that runs on your own computer and answers in the channels you already use. One playbook per task.
