Career
Run a Career Values, Interests, and Skills Audit
A shortlist of career directions to investigate based on the user’s own evidence rather than a one-shot personality verdict.
The process
Work it in this order.
- Collect examples of tasks, environments, and problems that have energized or drained the user across work, study, volunteering, and life.
- Group the examples into recurring interests, values, transferable skills, constraints, and preferred working conditions.
- Ask the user to rank the factors and distinguish non-negotiables from preferences that can be traded off.
- Gather outside evidence such as feedback, work samples, role descriptions, and labor-market information without treating any single assessment as definitive.
- Generate several plausible role hypotheses and map supporting evidence, gaps, and uncertainties for each.
- Choose low-cost tests such as an informational interview, short course, shadowing opportunity, volunteer project, or portfolio exercise.
- Schedule a review after the tests and update the hypotheses based on what the user learned.
Bring this
Inputs the cat will ask for.
- work and learning history
- energizing and draining examples
- practical constraints
- initial roles or fields of interest
Router + one playbook
Route first. Choose one.
Cat Paw loads one playbook per task rather than merging several. Start with this router; the remaining paths are workflow-specific candidates it can inspect.

Guardrails
The boundaries travel with the prompt.
- Do not present an assessment result as destiny or exclude options solely because of a score.
- Do not infer protected characteristics or recommend roles based on stereotypes.
- Flag that compensation, licensing, immigration, and labor-market details require current jurisdiction-specific verification.
Done means
A checkable finish.
The user has a ranked decision profile, two to four role hypotheses, evidence and gaps for each, and at least one scheduled low-cost test.
