Recruiting
Source and Engage a Qualified Candidate Slate
A diverse, job-relevant candidate slate with transparent sourcing provenance and personalized, respectful outreach.
The process
Work it in this order.
- Convert the approved scorecard into search concepts, adjacent titles, skills evidence, locations, and explicit exclusions.
- Search multiple appropriate channels, including the ATS, referrals, professional communities, and role-relevant portfolios, rather than relying on one network.
- Assess only publicly available, job-relevant evidence and record the source for each candidate.
- Review the emerging slate for overreliance on one company, school, network, or demographic proxy and broaden channels where needed.
- Write individualized outreach that explains the role, why the person's work appears relevant, and what the next conversation would involve.
- Send through approved channels, honor preferences, and use a finite follow-up sequence.
- Track qualified response and progression by source, then refine search concepts without lowering scorecard standards.

Router + one playbook
Route first. Choose one.
Cat Paw loads one playbook per task rather than merging several. Start with this router; the remaining paths are workflow-specific candidates it can inspect.

Guardrails
The boundaries travel with the prompt.
- Do not infer protected characteristics or screen on non-job-related personal information.
- Respect platform terms, privacy law, and candidate contact preferences.
- Do not imply the candidate has been selected or promise compensation not approved.
- Provide an easy way to decline further contact.
Done means
A checkable finish.
The ATS contains a deduplicated, source-attributed slate that meets scorecard criteria, has passed a channel-bias review, and has compliant personalized outreach logged.
