Prepare a Food and Symptom Log for a Clinician
A neutral, time-stamped record that helps the user and a qualified clinician discuss patterns without self-diagnosing.
The process
Work it in this order.
- Define the clinician’s question, the tracking period, and which fields they requested before logging begins.
- Record food and drink, approximate amount, time, and relevant context soon after consumption rather than reconstructing from memory days later.
- Record symptoms separately with onset time, duration, severity using one consistent user-chosen scale, and relevant activities or medications when requested.
- Keep ordinary intake unchanged unless a qualified clinician has instructed otherwise, so the log does not become an unsupervised elimination diet.
- Mark missing or uncertain entries explicitly and avoid converting temporal association into a causal claim.
- Summarize recurring observations and practical questions while retaining the underlying entries.
- Export the log in a clinician-readable format and ask the clinician what, if anything, to track next.
Bring this
Inputs the cat will ask for.
- clinician’s tracking request
- tracking dates
- foods and drinks consumed
- symptom timing and user-rated severity
Router + one playbook
Route first. Choose one.
Cat Paw loads one playbook per task rather than merging several. Start with this router; the remaining paths are workflow-specific candidates it can inspect.

Guardrails
The boundaries travel with the prompt.
- Do not diagnose allergy, intolerance, gastrointestinal disease, or any other condition from the log.
- Do not recommend elimination diets, supplements, medication changes, or food challenges; those require a qualified clinician.
- Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, throat or tongue swelling, fainting, or other severe or rapidly worsening symptoms.
- Store health data privately and share it only with the user’s authorization.
Done means
A checkable finish.
The requested tracking period is complete enough to review, uncertainties are labeled, and a concise log plus questions is ready for the qualified clinician.
